The Studio
The studio is a space in Chelsea, filled with the accumulated evidence of years of making — stretched canvases, jars of medium, stacks of paper, and the particular light that comes through west-facing windows in the afternoon.
Process is central to the work. I spend long periods in the studio simply looking — at the surface, at what has accumulated, at what needs to be added or removed. The work is never rushed.

Works range from intimate drawings to large-scale canvases that require the full space of the studio.
